My second shave with cella today. It was oh so wonderful. All that marzipan and tallow though, definitely breaking the diet... I like the sweet almond scent even if I want to use the lather as whipped topping. The performance though, magnificent! Slick, cushioning, abundant lather that doesn't disappear, dry, or disappoint in any way. While cella worked nicely with my big boar brush-Italian style- today was the real test as I lathered with my favorite, finest badger. It was pillowy and luxurious. I made 3 passes and had plenty left for another pass. I refrained from eating the leftovers and cleaned up, which was easy because I face lathered today. Maybe I'm just in initial shock and it's making me a temporary fanboy but I feel Cella was definitely something I was missing out on until today. Previously, the only other Italian soap I'd tried was a tub of Proraso green, which I pretty much used in its entirety. After Cella I would never use Proraso again; not that it's bad, just not even close to Cella in performance. Magnifico Cella, Bravo.
