Advice needed : first straigt razor to try for SE user : Would TI La Grelot work ?

Hi all,

I've been a SE user - Cobra/King Classic with Feather Pro ( and lately Mongoose Satin with Feather Pro Super)
for about 4.5 years. People claim that in term of sharpness it is as close to straight as it can be

I have never tried straight razor myself. Recently walked into Art of Shaving shop and saw TI razor with beautiful wooden scale.
I thought may be I try straight razor just to see if I survive the experience and don't die from blood loss and/or slit throat.

For anyone who made this transition : would the razor mentioned above work as a reasonable first one ?

It says 5/8 Carbon Steel, hollow ground blade ( the tip is rounded and it feels really secure in the hand since there is a a concave place for the finger in the razor shoulder)
