Ditto - I love mine too. To me, it is almost the perfect daily shaver when it is loaded with the right blade (Astra SP). I made an aluminum center punch handle for it because I prefer larger handles and not it is even better.
I found my pre-war tech at a very small, local antique shop for $7. I polished it up and have been using it every other shave since. The Tech and my Parker 24C are my favorite razors, I use one of them every day.
