All my life I've heard about guardian angels. I thought that would be pretty neat to actually see one. But I have never seen one. But recently I went to Wendy's restaurant , and there was a prayer leader from St . Martin of Tours (Cheviot, Ohio) church with a male friend. I said to him, "Are you staying holy this Lent?" He made a joke. It was something about his green shirt-holes in it or something. I didn't pay attention that well to his joke.
But then the prayer leader spoke about his incident at the St. Vincent de Paul store in Norwood, Ohio. He said that one day six black men came into that store. It was their intent to rob that store. But they didn't have firearms. That group of men looked upward, and apparently they saw something which terrified them. Then all six ran to the exit door to escape. They all were in competition to get out first.
The leader said that he will learn on the judgement day what those six saw.
I was impressed with his story and asked him his name. He said, "Bob Hildebrand".
Bob said that he had many stories. He also said that a man saw Bob's white shirt one day and came to the conclusion that he was a cop. But Bob said that he bought that shirt at a Goodwill store.
These two incidents tell me that Bob is being protected.
In conclusion I'll say that I never did see a guardian angel, but I met a holy man . I have known Bob for a while, and I will call him a holy man.
It was my desire to see a guardian angel . I didn't see one, but I got pretty darn close.
