Okay, I've been back into DE shaving long enough to have developed some personal opinions about the blades I've used so far.
- Blue Personna, USA-made: Cheap by the 100-pack; okay for the first one or two shaves, but gets pretty rough by number three, especially around difficult areas like the chin on passes across or against the grain.
- Shark, Egyptian-made: Sweet! Five days is the longest I've taken them, but believe I could go seven without a problem.
- CVS Pharmacy-branded (Personna?), Israeli-made: A close second to the Shark; good for four or five days.
I also have some unbranded blades that came with my Viking razor, supposedly made in Sweden, that I'll give another go next. I discount my first use of them because it was during my return to DE shaving and my technique sucked.
