Hey Brennan, seeing your post was quite funny because I actually used to have a Thater 4292/4 (23mm 2-Band fan) and now have your same brush (4125/2 26mm 3-band bulb). I found the 2 band hair in my brush to not be as soft as the 3-band hair and more on the floppy side (which I actually prefer to a rigid knot). The brush builds a great lather as you would expect from this manufacturer. However because of the knot diameter/loft ratio and knot shape, the brush will not have the backbone of bulb-shaped knot. You can still lather in any form you'd like (bowl, face, plan) with no issue.
