Hello and seasons greetings.
first I would like to ask what everyone's favorite straight, or favorites more than likely are. I'm not so much looking for the best looking razor or the most expensive period last year I got into straight razor shaving and I started to really like it. I have 4 straight razors and so far my best shaving razor is a 4/8 that no one can identify that I got from whipped dog. I have a couple gold dollars, one that a member on here did up for me. And one that I honed myself which I think actually shaved better for me for some reason even though its the same razor. I also have a dovo bismark I bought that's not bad. Thats my nice looking razor. I've been looking around in mostly what I see everyone putting up here are the more expensive razors like Wacker and filarmonica. But I've also heard some of those are more of a collectors item than the best shaver. I realize I'm opening up a can of worms here but I really would appreciate some people's help on finding something that's just a really good shaver and preferably I don't have to spend hundreds of dollars on. What do you get your best shaves from? Thank you in advance any help will be greatly appreciated.
