I have recently become a very big fan of Simpson brushes. I have a Berkeley in best, Persian Jar2 in best, a Duke3 in Manchurian, and a Butterscotch M7 in Manchurian on the way. I would recommend Simpson very highly to you. Their Best grade is wonderfully soft, while the Manchurian just wipes up lather like crazy.
