I started off using personna blades and eventually I started getting great, irritation free shaves with them in all my razors. I then started using Astra Superior platinum blades for a while because I liked the extra sharpness. Now as a time reference, my time away from the lab blues was maybe a month. I have recently decided to give the blues a whirl again and I can't help but get irritation every time I use one, regardless of razor. However the Astra still gives me that close, irritation free shave I want. Any ideas why this is?
