It's cracked near the top, cracked near the ball-end, and some joker soldered it (no idea if it's lead free or maybe it's JB Weld?) then tried to buff it down leaving scratches and tool marks. I have the thread on repairing these bookmarked, but is it really worth it?
Should I try heating it up and seeing if I can get the solder/glue off?
