To Restore or Not to Restore...

So I got this Wade and Butcher Sheffield full wedge razor from an eBay auction the other day. Fully intending to restore it, something stood out to me. The pins on this razor are.. different. It looks like someone used a nail and peened the other side, though I know this clearly isn't the case. I know that this razor has been around for over 120 years, so it's had plenty of time for people to have messed with it and taken away it's originality. So in the off-chance that this is original, would I be better off leaving it as it is?

The way it sits, there's some very very minor surface pitting on the front side of the razor face, the edge is nicked in several places, and there's a little more significant pitting on the rear face of the blade. The wedge pin is loose, allowing the blade to fall through the scales and the edge to be exposed, the pivot pin is a little loose; the blade won't stay open at a 45 degree angle on it's own, though with the weight of this blade I'm not sure that any pivot tension could help this along. There is no looseness at the pivot as far as the blade having unwanted movement.

Without further ado. .
