So I picked up a nice G1 on the 'bay complete with original cardboard box, injector, even the instructions, although the box has seen better days. It was described in the listing as in "very nice" condition.

I thought it had an old blade in it, until I looked closely and realized that it was the copper "fake blade" that new razors were shipped with. This razor has never been used!

In addition, the injector appears to have all 10 blades in it.
I realize that, strictly speaking, this is not NOS, since the razor has obviously been in and out of the box a number of times. Still, I am hesitant to pop in a blade and use it.
On one hand, Schick made a gazillion of these things, and I know that it is unlikely to ever be worth much more than I paid for it, at least in my lifetime.
On the other hand, they don't make these any more. I also have another G1 that is a little worn but perfectly functional that I can use for shaving.
So my question is, should I shave it or shelf it?
