I have only two brushes right now and both are inexpensive, but seem to be of reasonably good quality. I haven't started using the boar brush because it seems a lot stiffer and "scratchier" than I would like, but I have read that boar will soften over time while maintaining good "backbone." Does anyone have an idea on how long that will take" at any rate, I'll be using the boar for the first time today before work.
