Good morning, all-
I have read all the wiki articles here and elsewhere about the importance of blade angle but without a protractor in the bathroom (first world problems...) I'd like to know how you gentleman have determined that your blade angle is correct - in practice. During my shaves, I can hear a bit of scraping as the blade cuts the hairs, but I am struggling with some areas, particularly along the jaw line and on the neck, that don't seem to get cut even after several passes (although I do hear that scraping sound).
As I work through a sampler pack, I need to know if the blades themselves are just not sharp enough, or am I just not getting a close shave because of improper angle? I can honestly say that I do not use a lot of pressure and get very few nicks (maybe one or two, but only after a hit an area several times trying to shave it).
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
