I have been reading a lot and it appears, for many, a blade lasts three shaves. My question is this, what constitutes a "shave"? Is it three days? Is it the number of passes, one pass equals one shave?
The reason I ask is this, when I put a new blade in the shave is pretty much irritation free. I generally do 3 passes WTG, XTG, ATG. The next day I get a lot of irritation and the blade does not cut as well, at all. I know I have a pretty thick beard but I should be able to get more than one day from a blade.
