The only cream I use is Biotique Palmyra, and it's wonderful. I'm normally a face latherer, and I find face lathering difficult with this cream which is quite thick.
Basically, I deposit a small quantity on my cheek or neck and I find myself sort-of chasing that cream until it finally seems to have lathered up. And even then, I do wonder - did I actually use it all, or is there still some left under the lather than needs to be worked?
So I'm thinking of palm lathering so that at least I can capture that little nub of cream in the middle of my palm and keep it there until it's all worked up into lather.
Has anyone faced this issue with thick creams, and found palm lathering to be a good solution?
Or perhaps I'm simply missing something and there is a more controlled way to face lather with a thick cream?
