I was very fortunate to be the winner of Mark's PIF for a vintage Shulton's Old Spice Mug. I received the mug on Friday and used it this morning for the first time. With a new GSB loaded into my Merkur 1904 OC Frankenrazor, I lathered some C.O. Bigelow with my B&B essential. While I am still getting the hang of bowl lathering I think it came out well. I had a decent amount of lather and was able to create a bit more by adding some water. I think I will need to get some soaps to really let the mug shine.
As a side note, I realized this may not be the first time an Old Spice mug has been used in my house. My house is from the late 20s so it's possible an Old Spice mug from the same era as the one I have (1948-1952) has been used there before.
Sorry for the less than stellar picture.
