While we were shopping at our local pharmacy, my daughter, 11 years old, tested two perfumes on her wrists. Both bore the name of the pop star she hopes to be like someday (she's training as a singer) and were AWFUL. Since they were named after Taylor Swift, my little girl thought these scents were the ultimate and asked me to buy one or both for her.
No dice! Not happening. My wife recommended Clinique's Happy for her. I have no idea - but I'd like it to be light, floral, and not be evocative of a fully grown woman with all that entails.
I'm in no rush to buy her perfume and she doesn't even have her ears pierced yet. But, before some relative buys her this Taylor Swift swill, I need to have a plan.
