I had ordered this soap a few weeks ago and finally got around to trying it today. What I learned is that it really doesn't lather much (doesn't work in a bowl..slightly better results face lathering). The lather is thin (I kept going to the puck to add product, it didn't really make a difference), and dissipates fast. In fact I would recommend only lathering half your face, shaving that, then lathering the other half. Despite that it's actually slick enough and did an ok job shaving. The smell is fantastic, I haven't smelled any pure bay rum products but the lime sticks out - it smells like limeade basically, and the scent actually sticks around after the shave. So it got the job done, but I probably wouldn't repurchase it.
