So I am working on my goldilocks brush, and have finally speced it out. Rudy vey with a 26mm Shavemac d01 fan knot. I'm still trying to figure loft...
After a bunch of back and forth with my 2 and 3 band (26mm fans both 52 loft) I decided that the the 3 band has a little less backbone than I'd like, and the 2 band is scritchier. Then it hit me- why not a shorter loft on the 3 band to get the softness, but more backbone. The rub is, I'm not sure how short is too short. I was thinking 26x48, but Rudy seemed a a little hesitent to go that short He said he'd make it, of course.
So, looking for input. I is a 48 MM loft asking for trouble, or AOK?
