Feather blades are getting a lot of flak, it seems. I do not think they are rough, but I see the "complaint" of them dulling quickly. However, dulling in this case is going from deliciously sharp to an average performer. So, unless you'd want the sharpness of a fresh Feather blade every time, they could go a long way.
I am on the fourth day of a Feather blade now. Usually I switch then, but since I still get a good shave at day four, I decided to see how long it really lasts.
Today was a smooth two pass shave. I used the Feather in my Schick Krona; my (almost) daily razor. No nicks or weepers, and no sting from the alum block. Let's see how tomorrow goes.
