So I have the greeny meanie and it's started light crazing on the surface... As I understand this is mostly due to it drying too quickly... So my theory is this.. Use the rubber stone (I don't know why this would prevent crazing) and seal the sides and bottom like a jnat to retard the drying and store face down...
Also when using the rubber stone it produces brown and green slurry... Should I rinse that off or use it like slurry... I normally slurry my 1k stones a little for faster honing with a dmt
