If I'm up very early and go out somewhat late the same night, I probably don't really need another shave, but I take the opportunity to use a soap or cream other than the soap I've committed to in the 1317 thread (MdC). Last night's pre dinner lather product? Art of Shaving Lemon.
This cream has been sitting in its tub sinkside for about a year untouched. I opened the tub and found it had not deteriorated in any way since the day I purchased it, and the great lemon scent quickly made its way along my olfactory nerves to that part of the brain that increases alertness, wakes you up. I knew I was in for a great shave! I loaded from the tub with an old ER 100 with its original knot and face lathered. Lemon meringue lather. A couple of light touch up passes and off we went to dinner.
Nice to have that tub to look forward to. After MdC, I'm reaching for a puck of tallow AOS Lemon.
