I recently received one of these brushes and the jury's still out for me on its usability for two reasons:
1. I face lather and because the brush absorbs no water, I find that water splashes off the brush fairly significantly making the otherwise enjoyable lathering step messy.
2. The slightly springy behavior of the fibres makes painting a little troublesome since each track of the brush across the face can actually push the lather off if you apply the modest pressure you would with a natural bristle brush.
Any other synthetic users encounter this and suggest remedies? I guess lathering less vigorously and painting with less pressure are the obvious steps.
But perhaps I'm missing a trick.
