I am relatively new to this hobby. Started out using my grandfathers flair tip and I have been hooked since then.
I have purchased and tried a Merkur 34C, an adjustable slim, a Edwin Jagger DB89, an adjustable fatboy, an ikon razor (oss and open comb) and now I am using an Above the Tie R2 razor.
I think the ATT R2 is too aggressive for me. Is it my technique or what??
Using a new blade and very mild pressure still gets me lots of little weepers and very reddened skin under my jaw.
I have not experienced this with any of the other razors. My best shaves to date have been have the adjustable slim on about a 5 setting and a feather blade.
Should I start selling this stuff off and try again or what?
