I have been almost exclusively using my Muhle R41 which generally means I only make one pass due to it being so efficient. The thing is, the only soap I can really use with this razor is Mitchells, which requires quite a bit of loading to get a useable lather out of it. Due to this with any other razor I would generally make 2 to 3 latherings, but with the r41 I find this is overkill. Am I wasting a large amount of product to just perform one pass or am I just being cheap? Its not so much of an issue with soaps like Williams or Palmolive but Mitchells is that little bit more expensive...
Any thoughts?
