For the past year I have been shaving with a DE and for most of it I have been using like 3 blades. One of which I feel like I can put into any razor and get a great shaving experience with (GSB.) The other 2 I get good results with but in the wrong razor I get a little face burn afterwards (Astra SP and Wilkinson sword I get at the store by my house.) I recently started trying different blades lately and have noticed I can get good shaves out of just about any blade I try but some either...

My oldest torrey?

so the only marking is the Torrey. I'm gonna say 1880-1890. What would you say? I do have a few other blades that are stamped with Jr Torrey or Torrey razor company Worcester mass. This is the odd one in my collection.hoping I can get a usable edge . Just wanted to see if I'm mistaken or not.

Merkur 39c with a feather

Put a feather in the 39c tonight. Never used a feather in this razor before. I was surprised that it was a very smooth close shave. I'm curious because most of the time when I get a BBS shave it takes 10 or 15 minutes after my shave for it to get that smooth. Anyone else notice that?

Old Spice sensitive

I picked up a bottle new in box of Old Spice sensitive at an antique store the other day. I really like it. It seems a little stronger than the regular new Old Spice and the scent lasts a long time. The one I have is made by Shulton. I'm wondering if the older stuff better or is the sensitive new stuff just as good?
