Williams aftershave (EU) vs Aqua Velva aftershave (US)

I was on eBay yesterday as I am after a bottle of aftershave that I believe that I never tried. It's a variant made in Italy (or at least I believe it's a different formula compared to the US made AS). Anyways, following an experiment that I did a while back where I compared a few Brut AS that were made in different countries. I realised that the product was similar but not quite the same... Sometimes, very different...

I also had the same observations at home (I didn't post about it but many did) about Old Spice. The Canadian version versus the American version versus the Indian version.

So, all this to say that I found another variation of one of my classic barbershop AS this morning. Skin Bracer.

I shall wait 4 to 6 weeks to find out if it's similar.

Following that order, I stumbled on the Williams Aftershave. Over here, I can access the Combe Williams Lectric Shave Electric Razor Pre-Shave. The same mentioned in this post here, but I never tried it.

On the other side (Europe), there seem the be a variation of the Aqua Velva aftershave and it begins here: http://ift.tt/1JuTjtZ

Now, I am not saying that the information is true or false as I do not know. The colour is fairly different from the European version to the US version. Even the Aqua Velva Ice Blue version is different when I look at it.

Considering my previous experience with variants, sometimes, the variant is much better than the original that I get. Sometimes, it's the same, sometimes it's not. I was wondering if someone did compare the two as I did not and couldn't find a post about.

where the notes are indicated. I don't think that I get the same notes from any Aqua Velva bottles.

I see that our friends at GiftsandCare.com carry it but are out of stock at the moment. I would trust them best as they are active here on the forum. http://ift.tt/1LQYVVm

I know they have a 400ml bottle but that's too much IMO. Then, the 200ml bottle is the Spanish version where another variation also exists that comes in 100ml... So, who tried those?:biggrin1:

cream lather question

so I bought some AOS cream the other day and this morning was the first time I got to use it, and boy did it later up good....seeing as how this was my first cream, I was just wondering if all creams later up super awesome? im pretty good at getting lather with my soaps, buy man this lather was nice.

Honing Service, Recommendations

Hi Everyone. So I've decided to take up the fine art of straight razor shaving. Been doing lots of research, this site has helped a lot. I've acquired a razor I'm happy with (for those curious, http://ift.tt/1Jrq63d), strop, cream, just waiting on the brush (Not looking into the honing stones yet, want to get my skill up in the rest of the field first).
As I had expected I don't think it is shave ready, It feels really sharp and managed to remove hairs from the back of my had well enough but pretty sure it's meant to be sharper and as a newcomer to this I can only assume and from what I've read it almost certainly dose need a professional honing. (It failed the HHT if thats any reference to go by).

My issue is I'm in melbourne Australia and not sure quite how to find one. I did manage to find this online

Just not sure how credible it is, cant find anyone who's used the service and as a newbie if I go ahead with it, I wont know if it's a sub par job.
Saw some other threds where people have recommended members of this site. If I recall properly someone called Ozy in Sydney was one. Anyway any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
