Newbie DE shaver here with a question, while looking through van der hagens products they have a basic but quality assortment of soaps, an expensive post balm and face scrub.... but no pre shave. Being crafty I looked at the ingredients of their shave soaps and saw that their glycerin soap has potential to be a pre shave.
Here are the ingredients of their soaps if your curious...

I don't have sensitive skin, but I am prone to razor bumps and after some research razor bumps are more prone to happen to people with curly hair, African Americans and Hispanics... which I am predominantly half black, half Portuguese and have curly hair lol. So I'm a believer in the prep and will soon be trying oils.
Anyway is my thinking correct or should I just invest in am actual pre shave?
