Been fighting several issues, one of which was cutting part of my left thumb off before the holidays, so I haven't been in the shop much. A few days off work and warm weather got me back down there.
The head is a standard Parker. The brass fittings I turned, I think I am going to shorten the top fitting, looks a little long to me. Mixed up some acrylic resin, poured it into 1" PVC pipe, and into the pressure pot it went. A couple hours later I knocked it out of the PVC and let it cure more overnight. I hate turning really hard acrylic so I tend to cast on day one then turn it the next day while somewhat soft.
Polyester resin acrylics have really nasty fumes, thus the waiting for a warm, nice day to work on casting.
