I shaved off the beard on 4/17/14. Read about 100 pages of the DE wisdom here, and bought a 1940s Tech, some TOBS sandlewood and 100 Astra Platinums. I'm super happy, no cuts and a close enough, comfortable shave every day for the past 5 weeks. Three odd things:
I have no desire to own a second razor.
I only take 4-5 minutes to prep a mug of lather, shave and rub on some cocoanut oil.
I just replaced my first blade, after 35 shaves. The shave was a little slower, but still perfectly acceptable.
Am I doing something wrong?
